We are looking to recruit a part-time Residential Support Worker to join our team at 22 Levick Court. The successful candidate will be adaptable to the ever changing social care environment, demonstrate their ability to think and act decisively, whilst meeting the service objectives. Candidates will be expected to lead a shift and take responsibility for staff and service users in the absence of the management team. Applicants must be enthusiastic, flexible and creative and work in a person centred way, whilst providing both respite and residential services for adults with learning disabilities who have a wide range of care needs.
Key duties of the post will include:
• Providing the highest quality person centred care service
• Be able to direct and support other team members on a daily basis
• Be committed to a customer led service
• Have the ability to plan, assess, monitor and problem solve
• Ensure all administrative duties for the service are maintained as required
The successful candidate will be committed to the continuing development of Learning Disability Care services. It is desirable that applicants have experience of working with adults who have learning disabilities.
The successful applicant will need to be committed to the Middleborough Employee competency framework.
Applicants will be expected to participate in the agreed working rota including mornings, evenings and weekend working, occasionally waking night shift cover may be required.
