Newcastle is a dynamic and growing core city.
This post will increase capacity in our School Organisation and Infrastructure team, working with schools and trusts across Newcastle as well as officers within Children, Education and Skills and other parts of the Council.
This is a varied role and the successful candidate will carry out a range of functions relating to school organisation, capital projects, pupil place planning, and school estate management.
You will have experience of managing capital projects within timescales, budget and quality and strong analytical skills.

Equally important, however, will be the ability to engage and effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders, including providing information and advice to school leaders and governors, senior officers and elected members of the Council.
