An exciting opportunity has arisen to be of the Gateshead School Sport Partnership (GSSP) Team. The GSSP are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join their established team, to help with the co-ordination and delivery of a range of school focused services, events and projects.
GSSP are seeking to recruit a new full-time Development Assistant to the team. The role is interesting and diverse, providing the opportunity to work in a range of fields. This extends to include physical education & school Sport, physical activity, the School Games, event management and health & wellbeing.
You will be a motivated and innovative team player with a degree level qualification in a relevant discipline and you will have experience of co-ordination and delivery of sports events and competitions with a proven track record of team working to achieve targets.
You will have experience of leading and co-ordinating groups of people and working with schools and young people.
You will have excellent organisational skills and be able to work effectively on a range of projects at one time and have good interpersonal skills, be able to communicate effectively, problem-solve and reflect and self-improve proactively.
You will be reliable, dedicated and hardworking and will have experience of time management and be able to use a wide range of IT packages including Microsoft Office applications & online platforms.
You will have to be able to meet the transport requirements of the post and be available to work early mornings and evenings as required.
You must have a current driving licence and access to a car or means to mobility support.
