First Class Supply are currently working with a Secondary School in North Tyneside who wish to appoint a Teacher of Computer Science to commence in March 2018 up until March 2019. You will teach on a full time basis to pupils up to Key Stage 4.
With approximately 780 students aged 11-16, this is a smaller than average secondary school, that puts the learning and progress of the pupils first, at the same time encouraging originality and creativity.
To be successful in this role you must:
- have a strong classroom presence
- have the skills to make a significant impact on raising the quality of teaching and learning
- secure good progress for all students
- be able to demonstrate resilience
- be able to inspire and motivate
- be an enthusiastic and committed teacher with vision, drive and commitment
- hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
- have recent experience / knowledge of teaching Computer Science up to Key Stage 4 within the UK National Curriculum.
For a newly qualified teacher relevant support will be provided.
