Further information
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Ongoing Assessment and Intervention Team, for a suitably qualified and experienced Social Worker to join Adult Social Care in the role of Senior Practitioner.
As the Senior Practitioner your challenge will be to apply your knowledge and skills to help lead the newly restructured team to further develop strength based approaches to deliver outcomes for people in line with the Care Act and other legislation. You will have numerous opportunities to develop your practice in areas such as supervision, decision making, offering support to staff and deputising for the Team Manager.
We are looking to appoint someone who would be able to support our long term involvement with adults and older people who have complex and ongoing needs, in a way that increases or maintains their independence and delays or prevents admission to health and social care services.
For detailed information on this role, please refer to the Job Description and Person Specification.
For a further informal discussion, please contact Ian Peasley, Team Manager, on 01325 406856 or Jean Smith, Team Manager on 01325 406823
