We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and self-motivated engineer to join a busy operational team, delivering an effective and efficient maintenance service to all customers of Property Services.
The successful candidate will:
• Work within a team of skilled staff who carry out a range of gas, electrical and plumbing maintenance work within a commercial environment across Middlesbrough
• Be qualified in commercial gas appliances
• Ensure effective use of plant, materials and equipment
• Be actively involved in solving day-to-day problems
• Deliver an effective and efficient service to meet customer satisfaction levels
• Have the ability to work with minimum supervision
• Be able to work from line drawings
• Have worked with commercial appliances
• Be able to plan and organise day-to-day site work
The following are also desirable for this post:
• Experience in the maintenance of commercial catering equipment
• Experience in working with air handling units
• Analytical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work on minor projects
