If this is you – then Newcastle City Council is the place for you!

This is an exciting time to join us. We are making a significant investment in our workforce, and innovation is firmly at the heart of our vision to transform Children’s Social Care in Newcastle.

In return we will support you to succeed. As an organisation we are committed to providing our staff with the opportunities they need to develop and progress at all stages of their career. At Newcastle we offer a comprehensive range of training opportunities and professional development through professional supervision, mentoring and a strong management programme to grow and enhance your skills.

In addition, you will receive:
• A dedicated 5-day induction

• A range of flexible working options
• A generous Flexi Scheme
• Access to Mindfulness sessions and other wellbeing initiatives
• Access to a generous, defined benefit pension scheme
• Access to home electronics and car leasing schemes
• Generous relocation package
