North Tyneside Council’s Shared Lives scheme is urgently seeking Shared Lives carers. Shared Lives can be supporting an adult with a disability within the Shared Lives carers own home for a planned short break, emergency respite, long term support or day support. Shared Lives carers are ordinary people who wish to share their home and life with an adult who has a disability.
You will need to be a resident of North Tyneside and have a spare bedroom for overnight stays.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975, and an Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required.
