Hours: 37 hours per week

The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint a diligent, conscientious and skilled Site Supervisor. The post involves responsibility for site/premises security, cleaning and basic maintenance.

We are looking to appoint a Site Supervisor to provide an efficient and effective service to the School and its users. Reporting to the School Business Manager the role is to facilitate the smooth running of daily school functions, locking and unlocking the site and to respond, as appropriate, to the changing needs of the school. Candidates should have a basic understanding of security, health and safety and porterage and be able to use their initiative. The position also involves being proactive about keeping the school safe as well as upkeep of general maintenance. Experience of working within a school environment would be an advantage, however, a similar role in premises/maintenance would be considered. The ability to work as part of a team is essential.

You will be required to work a split shift for example 6.45am to 10.45am and 2.45pm to 6.15pm each working day, with some flexibility expected in relation to opening and closing the school for infrequent out-of-hours events and meetings.
