Adult Social Care is rapidly changing in South Tyneside. We are continuing our exciting journey of change which focuses on supporting our residents to live healthier lives longer, promoting independence and wellbeing, whilst delivering personalised services in partnership with them.

You will undertake a range of duties within the Safeguarding Adults Team. These include but not limited to the implementation of the Making Safeguarding Personal agenda, the undertaking of Section 42 Enquiries as required by the Care Act 2014, support and advise colleagues and partner organisations on the requirements of safeguarding and attend Multi Agency Complex Management meetings. You will undertake robust assessments and interventions to ensure those adults at risk are afforded the care and support required to achieve their desired outcomes and feel safe from abuse and neglect.
