Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council believe that every family deserves the chance to flourish and thrive. We are looking to recruit 2 Childrens Social Workers for our new Pre-Birth Team based at Daisy Lane, Middlesbrough. Our Pre-Birth social workers will have a very small case load.

With the development of a dedicated pre-birth team, we will have a service that follows nationally recognised best practice guidelines around intensive earlier intervention and will support us over the coming years in implementing social care reforms which advocate for keeping children safely at home through the use of early, targeted intervention.

This position requires a qualified Social Worker, with a minimum of 2 years experience post qualification.
