We are seeking to appoint experienced social workers to join our busy and successful Family Placement service.
The post will primarily revolve around the recruitment, assessment and support of foster carers, connected person foster carers and will include the delivery of training, assessment, recruitment, provision of skilled, professional support and be the first point of contact for people interested in fostering. You will also implement and develop systems to improve timescales and support to potential and approved foster carers.
The successful applicants will:
• Have a Dip SW or equivalent qualification
• Have experience in children and families work, including the placement of children in fostering
• Have excellent communication skills and some experience in presenting and/or delivery of training
• Have excellent assessment and report writing skills
• Be able to demonstrate that you are registered with the HCPC
