We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic solicitor to fill a permanent new post in the Legal Services Adult Social Care Team.
37 hours per week
The Section deals with a wide range of Adult Services work including Court of Protection applications; advice on Mental Capacity Act & Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, mental health, safeguarding, community care, immigration & asylum; displacement of nearest relative applications and defending Judicial Review challenges .
The successful applicant will be a confident advocate able to manage a varied and challenging caseload and work to strict deadlines.
Recent experience of Court of Protection proceedings is desirable.
