Ash Trees Academy is a primary special academy catering for up to 150 pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties and those with autism. It is part of the Ascent Academies Trust, comprising four special academies. .

We are seeking to appoint a number of Supply Teaching Assistants who will be responsible for supporting individuals and small groups, in addition to working with whole class groups. As this post is working within a primary age setting recent experience in this area is essential. Candidates should be well organised and be able to work as part of a team, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be flexible. Candidates will possess GCSE A*-G or equivalent in Maths and English and will also possess an NVQ2 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent.
