Bishop Barrington is a popular, oversubscribed school with ‘outstanding teaching and learning and outstanding leadership and management’ (Ofsted 2013); located in a pleasant market town in South West Durham. An enthusiastic and inspirational teacher of mathematics is required to join our team at Bishop Barrington. This is exciting times for the Maths department as we will be moving to a brand new building in 2019 with a fully furnished Maths suite.

Applications are equally welcome from newly qualified or experienced teachers.

The candidate would need to be committed to improving Maths pedagogy through effective Teaching and Learning with a focus on pupil engagement.
