The Governors wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our caring and successful school. Candidates should be suitably qualified and experienced in working in the early years and be able to meet the criteria detailed on the person specification.
Experience of working with children with special educational needs is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will work in the foundation stage within the Early Years Team supporting children 1-1, in small groups within the classroom and will be expected to carry out intervention work.
Visits to the school are welcomed, by arrangement with the SENCO.
The successful applicants should:
Have a relevant Teaching Assistant Qualification;
Have recent experience of working with children in a primary setting;
Have good communication skills;
Be able to motivate children to learn;
Be able to work as part of a team;
Have good behaviour management skills;
Be committed to helping children reach their full potential.
