Level 2 Teaching Assistant – fixed term contract
Working pattern: Part time - term time only plus 5 additional training days
Monday – Friday 8.30 – 3.30 p.m. (32.5 hours per week)
Fixed term for 1 year , from 2 September 2019 - 17 July 2020
Band 3, Level 2 - pro rata salary range is £13,090 - £13,352

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of our new primary school team ensuring all our children to thrive and reach their potential – in line with our school motto “Let your light shine”. The successful candidate will be expected to support children’s learning in class, support pupils and small groups with individual targets and play a full and active role in the wider life of the school, supporting play during unstructured times.

We are a welcoming Church of England school with happy, well behaved and highly motivated children. We have high expectations of ourselves and the children. Parents are highly supportive of the school. Oftsed judged the school as “Good” in June 2018 and stated, “This is a very happy school. • have recent, successful experience of supporting teaching and learning in the primary years (voluntary or paid)

• have high expectations of children's achievements and behaviour
• be flexible and work collaboratively and successfully as team members
