Teaching Assistant (Band 5) SCP 13-15, £13,171.70 - £13,611.74 per annum (pro rata), 32 hours and 35 minutes per week, term time only plus five PD days per year (195 days)
The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and imaginative Teaching Assistant to work within the early years setting and work with teachers to support the teaching and learning of pupils.
Applicants will possess NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and will have demonstrable experience of working as a teaching assistant within an early years environment. The school is looking for an applicant with excellent communication and ICT skills, who can develop effective relationships with pupils and colleagues, and be able to follow teachers’ plans.
Candidates should be suitably qualified and experienced and be able to meet the criteria detailed on the person specification.
