Hartlepool Virtual School for Vulnerable Pupils (The Virtual School) are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and conscientious Teaching Assistant to join our Team.
The role will be based in Hartlepool schools and a local authority education provision ('The Hub') to support children and young people with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and International New Arrivals (INA). The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, dedicated and positive. They will be committed to ensuring the children in their care have the best possible opportunities for success and can demonstrate excellent relationships with children, staff and parents.
The posts will involve providing general assistance and resource-related support to the learning of children and young people with EAL and INAs as requested and directed by The Virtual School.
The post is 35 hours per week, Term Time Only (190 days)
The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure & barring check via the Disclosure & Barring Service (previously known as a CRB check)
