Temporary to start as soon as possible linked to SEN funding for a named child.
The governors are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:
Experience of working with / or having training to support children with emotional and attachment needs
Excellent positive behaviour management skills; being calm and empathetic as well as firm and consistent
Being able to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues and other professionals
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
An understanding of a range of special educational needs.
The post holder will be required to work 1-1 with a child who has an Education, Health and Care Plan.
The post will be part time (22 hrs per week, term time only) and temporary linked to SEN funding. The successful candidate will take up post as soon as possible.
