Are you?

A qualified and registered Social Worker? Passionate about safeguarding and improving outcomes for children and able to enthuse others? Up to date with professional development of social care employees? Up to date with current childcare legislation?

Could you?

Manage a team of training officers and be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the Adults and Children's Social Care and Safeguarding Workforce training strategy.

Implement training packages that support practitioners in delivering excellence in relational work, assessment, reflexivity, and systemic interventions/approaches.

Deliver on the development and implementation of Adult and Children's social work national programmes.

Lead in the delivery of the Children's and Adults ASYE programme and quality assurance of ASYE standards both with the organisation and externally.

Under the direction of the Service Manager, be responsible for developing and delivering a children's services professional development programme to support practice standards and career progression.

Do you want to?

- Play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of training to the Social Work / Social Care Workforce in Children's Services
- Contribute to the career development of a strong, professional Social Care Workforce
- Be involved in supporting newly qualified Social Workers and their assessors through the ASYE programme
- Contribute to the support of Children's Social Workers through the new assessment and accreditation process being introduced by the Department of Education.

Do you have?

- Experience of managing a team.
- Recent experience of working in an operational social care environment
- Experience of safeguarding
- Experience of delivering and developing social work national programmes.
- Experience of working regionally with partner authorities and HEI
