Are you an exceptional and inspirational headteacher? We invite you to apply for this newly created role of Trust Cluster Executive Headteacher for a cluster of six small primary schools in Durham.
 
You will be a passionate and collaborative leader with the highest expectations to help and support the schools in the next exciting chapter of their journey. You will oversee the schools within the cluster, providing leadership support and challenge to the headteachers within the individual schools. This will include ensuring standards are high within the cluster, leading school improvement strategies and facilitating collaborative practice across the schools and within the Trust. We wish to appoint someone who can lead by example, motivate a team and help make our schools the best possible place to be for our pupils and staff.
 
Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust is a family of secondary, middle, primary and first schools in Durham, Gateshead, Northumberland and Sunderland and is the largest Catholic education trust in the North East of England.   • Is an exemplary primary headteacher with a proven track record in raising standards in teaching and learning;
  • Has the dedication to pursue and achieve the highest expectation for pupils’ attainment, progress and personal development;
  • Has the ability to lead, inspire, empower and motivate all members of the schools' communities to find Christ in each other;
  • Will encourage and provide our children, a rich and inspiring curriculum; and
  • Will seek to promote, to the utmost, the development of every child’s personal wholeness, integrity, gifts and creativity in a welcoming and loving school community.
