Duties include completing financial assessments for non-residential and residential services, providing benefit advice to service users and supporting them with benefit applications. You will also help manage the finances of individuals who do not have the capacity to do so themselves through appointeeship / deputyship appointment. There will also be scope to help with arranging things like public health funerals, protection of properties and boarding of pets when there are no other persons available to carry out the role.

Full training will be provided. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is an ability to take responsibility for managing your own workload. You will also need to have good IT skills, including working with applications such as Word and Excel.

The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check plus barring list Adults check. A full UK driving licence with access to a car for work purposes is also required.
