Further Information
Hartlepool is a vibrant and energetic town with growing prospects. As an authority we want to make Hartlepool the best it possibly can be and want dedicated, driven and committed staff to help us achieve that.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in this new team within the Learning & Skills Service to help support with the co-ordination and development of Voluntary and Community Sector infrastructure in Hartlepool and to support with promotion of inclusion within the community.

Building on the strengths of a forward thinking team, we are now seeking to appoint a VCS Officer to work alongside the existing VSC Coordinator and VCS Officer.

It is essential that the successful candidate has experience of supporting Voluntary Sector and Community Groups, in a wide range of areas from capacity building to funding programmes. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to organise their own workload and work under pressure.

The successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Check via the Disclosure & Barring Service (previously known as the CRB).
