Are you passionate about water sports? Would you like the opportunity to lead on the development of a new Watersports Centre and Multi-Sports Community Hub? If so we would like to hear from you.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead on the delivery of this 3 year project based at Seaham Harbour Marina in East Durham.

The successful candidate will work within a multi-agency delivery team alongside a range of staff from Durham County Council and Seaham Harbour Marina. You would have overall responsibility of to develop the new Watersports Centre and Multi-Sports Community Hub at Seaham Harbour Marina, ensuring effective delivery of all sports activities and initiatives.

We're looking for people who have previous experience of;

• Managing and delivering water sports based activity programmes
• Sport/club development, ideally in water sports based activities.
• Project management and partnership working, ideally in sport and
leisure environment.
• Project monitoring and evaluation And;
• be committed to excellent customer service and passionate about
sharing their love of sport with the residents of Seaham.
• be prepared to work regular evenings and weekends.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will need to hold a minimum of HND/NVQ Level 4 or equivalent professional vocational qualification in a related area;
Valid First Aid Certificate;
and hold a current Senior Instructor/Level 2 NGB Qualification in one or more of the following; Sailing, Windsurfing, Paddlesports.
