A partner primary school to First Class Supply, based in South East Northumberland, is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work with a Year 1 pupil to carry out behavioural support. The position will be on a full time basis to work on a one to one basis. The post will begin in March 2018 for the duration of the Summer term.
This is a good primary school where pupils make good progress across the school. Teaching in this school is good and sometimes outstanding. Teaching Assistants provide good support to a range of pupils across the school. Pupils are well-mannered and polite within this school.
To apply for this position you must:
• have experience of working on a 1-1 basis with children with additional needs
• be able to work independently using your initiative
• be committed to making a real difference to the lives of pupils
• have empathy, patience and understanding
• hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in childcare or education
• have a minimum of 6 months recent experience within a UK school or education setting.
