We have a number of permanent and temporary Business Support Officer vacancies (full time and part time). The vacancies are in the following areas of the business

SENAPR / Connexions - Education Health Care Plan (EHCP)
Supporting the SENAPR and Connexions service in the administration of EHCPs. You must have the ability to multi task and be able to prioritise tasks in line with time scales. You should be pro-active and have excellent communication skills. The main IT systems used in this role are Capita and all MS Office packages.

Childrens Safeguarding Standard Unit (CSSU) – Minute Taking
Supporting the council’s CSSU and organising / administrating Child Protection conferences and associated meetings. You should have excellent organisation and communications skills and the ability to deal with challenging situations. You should have the ability to multi-task and deal with a high workload with changing priorities and tight deadlines. The main IT systems used in this role are CareFirst, Total view, secure email and MS Office.

Adult Social Care
Supporting a number of areas of Adult Social Care such as social care direct and single entry. You will work on rotation around a number of areas of work every 6 weeks. The work has a high priority and is time limited which needs attention to detail. You should have the ability to adapt to IT systems, deal with vulnerable people on the phone and face to face, work to very tight deadlines and retain knowledge of procedures supporting different service areas. The main IT systems used in this role are CareFirst, Total view, WMS, secure email and MS Office.

Supporting Adults and Childrens complaints procedures together with the support of School Admissions Appeals.
