We are now looking for an exceptional candidate to take on the role of our Child and Family Welfare Leader, promoting excellence whilst removing barriers to learning, so that all of our children have the opportunities to become confident and successful in all areas of their lives.

The successful candidate will:

• Show commitment to the overall vision, values and ethos of the school
• Show drive and commitment
• Work as part of a team
• Show warmth, care and commitment to our learning community
• Work with and support vulnerable children and families, in a confidential, constructive and nurturing way
• Provide an effective interface between school and other agencies / services / partners.
• Be one of the lead designated child protection officers within school.
• Co-ordinate the work of the Inclusion team (with the Senior Leadership Team) in order to promote the wellbeing and safety of children and families within school and in the wider community.
• Support the SENDCO and help to remove barriers to learning
• Promote good school attendance and work with vulnerable families to achieve this
