Working in a dynamic, newly formed team you will be involved in every part of the Council’s corporate activity and wider authority area.

The successful candidate will develop long term plans and innovative solutions for the reduction of Carbon Emissions and mitigation of Climate Change. You will be responsible for the identification of grant funding and development of a pipeline of opportunities.

We are looking for a passionate, hard working individual who is not afraid of challenging existing practices. You will be an exceptional communicator who has an ability to explain complex issues in a manner appropriate to the audience.

This post has been identified as suitable for flexible working which enables the postholder to work 40% of their working time away from the office
