This post is temporary until July 2022.
The Head Teacher and Governors wish to appoint a motivated and committed Teaching Assistant to support pupils in UKS2. The successful candidate will also be required to support within the classroom and be able to take small groups of pupils for intervention work. Experience with UKS2 would be an advantage as would managing children with more challenging behaviour.
We are looking for a good team player who is able to work well as part of a supportive staff, as well as having an ability to foster excellent working relationships with children.
Other desirable previous experience would include working in a primary school environment, working previously with this age group, knowledge of Y5/Y6 curriculum and supporting pupils in small focus-group situations.
