Nexus is searching for an Apprentice to join the Automatic Fares Collection section of the Business Change & Technology of IT commencing September 2022.
The successful candidate will learn both at work and at college how to safely work on a modern AFC equipment. If successful, you will be part of a team that will carry out preventative maintenance, fault breakdown repairs, equipment installation and software updates to the full range of AFC equipment.
We are looking for a colleague who has a positive attitude towards learning, rules and procedures, a logical approach towards problem solving and who can remain calm under pressure.
In order to apply you must have or be predicted to have 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above which include English, Mathematics, and a Science.
Interviews will be held on 22nd June 2022 and alternative dates will not be available.
