THE ROLE
Reporting to the Health Co-ordinator the post holder will work on the Lite 4 Life/Active Health programmes.
In this exciting role, the key duties will be:
1. Delivery of the 12 week Lite 4 Life weight management programme. Develop the current weekly sessions to keep in line with current government initiatives.
2. Work towards targets set within the Lite 4 Life Public Health Service Level Agreement.
3. Conduct pre & post Lite 4 Life/ Active Health consultations and induct/design individual physical activity programmes to meet client’s needs.
4. Review and evaluate quarterly monitoring within agreed formats and timescales as directed by the Health Co-ordinator.
5. Manage the day to day running of the TMLS system with regards to the Lite 4 Life & Active Health programmes.
6. Signpost clients to TAL mainstream services following completion of the schemes.
There will also be an expectation of covering sickness, annual leave and any additional hours required across all venues.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate should hold a recognised GP referral qualification or willing to work towards it, weight management qualification Level 2 or have experience in delivery of diet and nutrition with a gym instructor’s qualification Level 2 or a level 3 PT. Candidates must have good background knowledge of both health schemes and must be able to build rapport with new clients entering the programmes. This role will require a high level of planning, organising, and requires the ability to work using your own initiative. You must be able to demonstrate solid evidence of these skills. You must have a valid full driving licence and access to a vehicle as the role will require you to work across all our venues.
