Position 1: Permanent Teaching Assistant (Level 2) with a 6 month probation period

Job Description:
Our Governing Body wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant, grade F7 (Level 2) to work full time for 32.5 hours per week. Salary will be £16,957.67

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children, preferably with SEND needs, and of working well within a team.

Duties include:
• Working alongside children who have SEND, possibly one-to-one support.
• Supporting the teacher to deliver bespoke interventions to a child or group of children.
• Liaising with professionals regarding needs of children.


Position 2: Temporary Teaching Assistant (Level 2) for Maternity Cover – Two terms from September 2023 to March 31st 2024.

Job Description:
Our Governing Body wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant, grade F7 (Level 2) to work full time for 33.33 hours within our nursery provision.
Salary will be £17,409.21

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children in Early Years and of working well in a team.

Duties include:
• Working alongside all children in nursery, including those who may have SEND.
• Supporting groups of children in a key-worker role.
• Working under own initiative in a busy environment.
• Supporting children at lunchtime.


Position 3: Permanent Teaching Assistant (Level 2) Part-time with a 6 month probation period

Job Description: Our Governing Body wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant, grade F7 (Level 2) to work part time for 20 hours per week.
Salary will be £10,446.47

Duties Include:
• Working alongside the class teacher to support children both in the class and delivering interventions to small groups of children.
• Supporting children at lunchtime during outside play.
• Working under own initiative.

These positions are paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
