Due to growth in the social work teams, we currently have 2 vacancies in adult services:

1 – Safeguarding Social Worker – this post is in the safeguarding team and support the team conducting s42 enquiries. As this post is funded by the Better Care Fund it will primarily support people discharged from hospital who then trigger a safeguarding alert.
2- Learning Disability Social Worker – this post is in the adult learning disability team which is co-located with health colleagues. The post will support adults with a learning disability 18+ and also individuals transitioning into adult services.

We will consider applications from newly qualified social workers but would particularly welcome applications from experienced Social Workers

This post has been identified as suitable for flexible working which enables the postholder to work a percentage of their working time away from the office.
