The Governing Body and Head Teacher seek to appoint a Phase Leader with a Curriculum Responsibility to work within our successful school from September 2024. Recently graded Good by OFSTED (Jan 2024), Mortimer is a forward thinking school looking to build and progress as we strive for ‘Excellence for All’.
 
As a class based teacher, within our three form entry school, you will lead across a two-year phase of the primary age range. Initially, you will lead on Mathematics as your curriculum responsibility.
 
The successful applicant will be a highly effective and motivated classroom practitioner who is committed to raising standards of education for the children in their care.
 
We are seeking to appoint a teacher who:
  • Can lead a phase of school, supporting and developing a team
  • Will lead across the school to help develop our curriculum practice
  • Continue our journey in maths within the NCETM framework
  • Will join the Full Leadership Team to drive the school forward
  • Support the Head teacher in realising the vision ‘Excellence for All’
