In South Tyneside, our children and families are at the forefront of everything we do.  We want every child and family to feel supported in times of need and empowered to make the right decisions; we are committed to making a difference.  We take pride in our Children’s Residential Service, where staff are valued, supported, and trusted to drive this vision forward.
We are excited to expand our Residential offer with the fantastic opportunity for child focussed Registered Managers to develop and further improve our four bedded children’s homes in South Tyneside.

It is essential that you hold the same values and principles as we do; placing the young people at the centre of all we do, building on relationships to support young people to achieve more than they could have thought possible and listening and valuing their contribution to improving the home and wider services who support them.
As Registered Manager, you will ensure the day-to-day care of young people is of the highest quality and in accordance with the values and principles of the service, regulations and best practice.  You will ensure the provision of care and recording is of the highest possible standard.  You will lead on the continued development of quality assurance processes which ensure care, safeguarding and support continues to develop in order to meet the current and future needs of our children and young people.  You will be responsible for ensuring data, finances and performance of the home is accurate, timely and of the highest standard.  You will work closely with colleagues across the wider service and partners to ensure our high standards and aspirations for young people are achieved.
