We are looking for motivated, and organised Crisis Resilience Fund Support Officers to join a small, new specialist team. About You
You will have:
- Experience of providing customer-focused advice, support, or welfare services.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of benefits, welfare support, debt advice, or financial inclusion initiatives is desirable.
- Ability to build effective relationships with residents, partners, and stakeholders.
- Confidence in handling complex enquiries and sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
What you will do:
- Provide welfare and financial advice, helping people maximise their income through benefits, discounts, grants, and other entitlements.
- Meet with vulnerable residents and provide support in community settings.
- Work with partner organisations to ensure residents get the right financial support.
- Help prevent repeat crises by providing practical support that improves residents' long-term financial resilience, not just their immediate circumstances.
- Monitor and analyse data to understand demand, track outcomes, and support reporting requirements.
- Contribute to service improvement, ensuring the fund is accessible, fair, and effective.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile programme that supports vulnerable residents while helping communities become more resilient for the future.
