Level 2 Teaching Assistant required as soon as possible
NJC Grade F SCP 7-8, 32.5 hours, Term Time plus 5 days, temp until 31 August 2027, £20165.14 – £20953.53
We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant who shares our vision for helping children flourish and reach their full potential. The successful candidate will work across the school from Nursery to Year 6, supporting teaching and learning whilst helping to create positive relationships and experiences that enable every child to succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils in accessing learning and achieving their full potential.
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and deliver targeted interventions.
- Encourage pupils' independence, confidence and positive attitudes to learning.
- Support pupils with additional educational, emotional and physical needs.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and adapting activities to meet pupils' needs.
- Promote the school's inclusive Christian ethos and contribute positively to wider school life.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a relevant Level 2 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Has experience supporting children in a primary school setting.
- Is enthusiastic about helping children achieve their full potential.
- Demonstrates patience, kindness and a nurturing approach.
- Builds strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
- Is adaptable and willing to work across different classes and year groups as needed.
