Hartlepool have been successful in becoming a host port for the Tall Ship Races in July 2023, having hosted the event back in 2010, we are excited for its return.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative and well experienced Commercial Manager to join our project team who will lead on the commercial offer for spaces available to hire on the Tall Ships event site. This will include catering concessions, market stalls, bars, exhibitors etc.
The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills to develop, implement, sell and deliver a commercial offer to a range of businesses. Excellent communication is essential to ensure that the aspirations of the event are realised.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working with stakeholders across a range of sectors, ensuring good financial management, sound knowledge and implementation of health and safety requirements and experience of procuring and managing contracts.
