The Governors of Toft Hill Primary School wish to appoint a committed, hardworking, well organised person with a genuine interest in children to the position of Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant.
 
We are seeking a mid-day supervisor to join our lunch time team and contribute positively to the welfare and play of the children in our school.
 
The successful candidate will:
 
• Be caring, hardworking and reliable
• Have the ability to work as part of a team
• Supervise meals and encourage children to use cutlery properly
• Can set up and supervise playground games with children
• Have experience of or be enthusiastic to learn how to help young children with additional learning needs and/or disabilities
 
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post. 
 
This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
