We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a passionate and people-focused individual to join DurhamEnable as a Triage Advisor, supporting the Connect to Work programme.
Connect to Work is the government’s new flagship employment programme under the Get Britain Working strategy. Running across England and Wales until March 2030, it’s designed to help disabled people, those with health conditions, and individuals facing complex barriers into meaningful, sustainable employment—using the proven Supported Employment model.
About the Role
As our Triage Advisor, you’ll be the first point of contact for referrals into the programme. You’ll:
Carry out initial assessments to understand individual needs
Prioritise support and signpost to the right services
Work closely with our Team Leader to guide participants into the right employment pathway (SEQF or IPS)
Build strong relationships with participants, families, partners, and employers
Help shape initial support plans and ensure a smooth transition into the right supportThis is a permanent role, offering the chance to make a real difference in people’s lives across County Durham.
