Oxclose Community Academy, part of Laidlaw Schools Trust, are seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant.
 
The successful candidate will work as part of an established team in a very busy Academy environment and will be the welcoming face of the Pupils to dine. This key individual will play a crucial role in the day-to-day life of the Academy.
 
The Catering Assistant supports a culture of high expectations by assisting pupils to take a school meal and pupils on site during the midday break, encouraging pupils to eat healthy and promoting positive interactions. Maintaining a clean environment in the dining hall, supporting the catering team in a safe environment for pupils. Record/Report any incidents or accidents.
 
Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the Headteacher/Deputy Headteacher. The above duties do not define or include all tasks required of the post holder. Duties and responsibilities may vary without changing the level of responsibility.
