As Head of ICT you will provide strategic direction to the development of ICT ensuring a customer focused service that supports the delivery of the Council’s Change Programme and the smooth running of a “Business as usual” ICT service, which has in place appropriate Governance mechanisms .
Leading the ICT Service, you will oversee the delivery of Middlesbrough Council’s ICT Strategy. You will need to drive the delivery of some major projects and use the resources at your disposal to create excellent value for money for the benefit of the wider Council and Middlesbrough’s residents.
Middlesbrough Council has an ambitious vision set by the Mayor for the development of the area. Working within a newly formed Finance, Governance and Support Service directorate, ICT Services have a crucial role to play in enabling the delivery of that vision.
