The development of Mental Health/ Dementia and Mental Capacity strategies to ensure Adult Social Care meets its statutory and safeguarding requirements.

Lead on the development of working systems to address the legislative changes required within the MCA (DoLS) and the MHA.

Implement a system of development and review of standards within Adult Mental Health and Mental capacity services to ensure a cohesive and high performing workforce.

Embraces cultural change and a strength based social work approach.

Work closely with relevant managers within adult Mental Health and Mental capacity services to promote a professional and positive standards of practice that reflect the Councils core values.
