The Sunderland Safeguarding Children Partnership (SSCP) is a multi-agency partnership which brings together agencies who work to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people across Sunderland. The aim of the Partnership is to coordinate what is done by each body represented on the board for the purpose of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in Sunderland and ensuring the effectiveness of that work.
We are looking to appoint a Practitioner Form Co-ordinator and Training Lead to establish and coordinate the Safeguarding Children Partnership Practitioner.
The successful candidate will bring senior staff and front-line practitioners together to explore topical and relevant safeguarding themes as well as facilitating and
co-ordinating the Practitioners Forum. They will lead on the SSCP Training Strategy; create workforce development plans and co-ordinate as well as deliver training.
