Post title: Sessional Lecturers – casual
Salary: £25,909 Unqualified Teacher Point 5 (pro-rata to hours worked if applicable)
Job Location: An approved Durham County Council location. However, you may be required to work at any council workplace and a range of other venues within County Durham.

The Adult Learning and Skills Service are looking to recruit Sessional Lecturers with significant teaching experience and assessments within the post 16 and 19+ adult learning sector who can offer one or more of the following work-based learning programmes (Apprenticeships):

Leadership & Management up to and include level 5
Business Administration level 3
Customers Service L2 to L3
School Business Professional L4
Teaching Assistant L3
Health and Social Care L2 & L3

Successful candidates will work closely with the Service Programme Lead and will be responsible for the planning and development of high quality courses and carrying out teaching and learning activities across the County. This will include preparation of individual learning plans, schemes of work, lesson plans and associated learning resources.’

Required qualifications:
Level 4 teaching qualification, L3 Subject specific qualification in the field to be taught, L2 qualification in Maths & English and current assessor award.
