An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Organisation Development practitioner to join the HR service within the authority.

The Organisation Development Lead will work as part of the Organisation and Workforce Development Team which is based within the HR service to support organisation development and change management initiatives in order to drive forward culture change across the Authority. The post will provide expertise and support in the areas of developing and implementing competency frameworks, talent management programmes, values and behaviours building initiatives to support culture change programmes, developing employee engagement strategies, building leadership and management capacity including elected members and supporting cross council projects from an organisation development perspective.

The post will work closely across all Authority teams from frontline to office-based employees through to senior managers and leaders and Elected Members.

You will hold a relevant degree level qualification with an appropriate professional qualification, preferably within HR, Education or Training. You will have substantial experience of developing and implementing strategies and plans relating to organisation and workforce development and change management. In addition, you will have experience in supporting managers on transformational OD issues such as culture and values, leadership and management development, competency frameworks and performance management, talent management and succession planning
