Opening Hours: Mornings: 7.30 – 9am (Mon-Fri)
Afternoons: 3.15 - 6.00pm (Mon-Fri)
Term time only 13.5hrs (plus additional hours to cover holiday clubs)

We are a well-established and popular out of school club based at Heddon-on-the-Wall St. Andrew’s Primary School. We recognise the need for good quality wrap-around childcare and are looking for an energetic, self-motivated play worker to support our out of school club team in providing a fun, safe and caring environment for the children in our care.
The role is diverse and your main duties will include:
• Establishing a supportive relationship with the children in our care
• Delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment
• Ensuring the safety of our children at all times
• Motivating and encouraging the children to engage in play whilst supervising them to interact with each other in an appropriate and acceptable manner
• Assisting with snacks and refreshments
• Maintaining a positive working relationship within the team of play assistants
• Ensuring the safe arrival and departure of children
• Developing and maintaining good communication between the club, school, parents and children
• Being a responsible role model for the children and parents
We would like to hear from you if you are:
• NVQ level 2 qualified or have relevant experience
• A team player
• Punctual and reliable
• Genuinely enjoy working with children
