We are seeking to recruit an Assistive Technology Development Manager who will be responsible for the development of services and policy to support the technology enabled care agenda. Working in partnership with health and social care organisations and teams, there is an expectation that the post holder will deliver expert advice, continually researching and developing the knowledge base of the organisation.

The post holder will have responsibility for a team of Installers and oversee the installation of Telecare and AT devices for the residents of Sunderland, working closely with the Telecare Response team to ensure the system and devices used are fit for purpose.

This is an exciting and developing area of health and social care and the post holder will be expected to ensure services delivered are continually updated to reflect current best practise.

The successful candidate will be committed to promoting equal opportunities, safe and independent living arrangements for people with disabilities and long term health conditions. There will be opportunities to work closely with health and social care practitioners and the post holder should be committed to delivering high standards of care to their customers.

Working as part of the Sunderland Care and Support senior management team, the post holder will also play an active role in the overall management of the company, demonstrating flexibility and creativity in their approach.
