Required from 4th January 2021. The Governors of Leadgate Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic teacher to teach daily in Year 1. We are looking to recruit an outstanding classroom practitioner who is able to inspire our children, ensuring they achieve their full potential.

Leadgate Primary School is a GOOD school with high expectations of both children and staff. (March 2018)

The successful candidate will:
• Be a creative, outstanding classroom teacher who can enthuse and inspire in core areas of the curriculum
• Have high expectations of children’s achievement and progress
• Have strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to working in partnership with others
• Be committed to their own professional development
• Hold strong behaviour management skills and have high expectations of conduct
• Understand the importance of high levels of children’s wellbeing and be able to support personal development and welfare
• Have recent and relevant experience in
Key Stage 1 and knowledge and understanding of EYFS provision


Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
